this is probably something a lot of y’all are like “thank god” about but I’m gonna talk about a/dfly for a sec cause… idk. it’s interesting to me.

That’s almost definitely why my accounts keep getting terminated. I guess it’s about time I start taking down all my a/dfly links (step 1) or at least those I can find. the crowd cheers! but honestly, this kind of sucks.

I wonder if people that aren’t creators realize just how much you can make. I certainly haven’t been active with sims for a long time, but my total amount of adfly revenue is almost $900. that’s a lot of money. it def has been spread out over years, so every month it doesn’t seem like much but a couple coffees, but when I look at that number altogether, it does suck to see it go. I have almost always made adfly links optional, so this means that all that revenue has been like, 99% people completely opting in to click that link

thank you so much.

I know a lot of people hate a/dfly and that’s fine, that’s why I’ve always tried to give the link to opt out (except on the very rare occasion with special items). I don’t disagree with skippers, etc whatever. but… just, it’s really amazing to think that just this sims hobby did give me that. it’s a pretty cool thought. I’m sure people like elliesimple make a pretty buttload of cash.

no real point to this post, just thought some of y’all who aren’t actually creators or who haven’t used a/dfly might be curious about what it actually can do.
